XD Series Heat Treated Chromoly 3 piece Heim Joints
Our new XD Series 3 piece heim joints are ideal for link suspensions in the demanding off road world. These have tighter tolerances and better durability than our old injection molded heims and still cost less than many other options out there. Our heims are sold as sets and include weld in bungs, misalignment spacers and jam nuts.
3-piece Heim joints consist of
- A spherical ball made of heat-treated, precision-ground 52100 bearing steel
- An inner PTFE (teflon) race/liner, which sits between the ball and housing
- A chromoly housing (body)
Specs:
. 7/8" Shaft
. 7/8" Bore
. 1 Left hand and 1 right hand heim
. Also available as 2LH and 2RH heims
. Round tube adapters to 1.5" ID tube (x2) or Hex tube adapters to 1" ID tube (x2)
. 3/4", 5/8" or 9/16" standard misalignment spacers (x4) or 3/4" safety misalignment spacer for drag link applications
. Jam nuts (1L and 1 R)
. 45,000 lb static load rating
. Perfect for upper links / Panhard bars with round adapters or steering links with hex adapters
